2. All students are expected to put in their best effort both inside the class, and when completing work at home.
3. All homework and assignments are expected on time.
- Unfinished homework will result in students receiving a homework slip and lunch detention with Mme Linda. The purpose of this is not as a consequence, but to ensure students do not fall behind to an overwhelming extent.
- One days grace will be allowed for students who complete most of their homework but for a few questions. These questions must be attempted, or questions about them written down.
- Extensions are easily available when requested in advance, and for a sensible reason.
4. No cell phones use in class or in the school between classes.
- The consequence for violation of this rule will be that your cell phone is confiscated and turned into the office. You will have to deal with them to get it back.
- The following exceptions exist:
5. Students must be in class & prepared before the bell.
- Students not in class when the bell goes will have to get a late slip from the office.
- Students who arrive to class without the required text book, notebook, calculator or iPad will be marked late as they will need to go get these.
- Being late 5 times will have the consequence of 1 full lunch detention. The reason this is needed is so that students do not waste the time of their classmates and teacher.
